EDESUR electricity rate price changes

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican company EDESUR has credited 706,106 clients under the postpaid modality, for
the price change per kilowatt of the electricity rate.

New Price Rate

These clients, positively impacted by the distributor, see their accreditation reflected in the month of
August, for the type of postpaid client rate, in accordance with the resolution issued by the Superintendency
of Electricity (SIE), as provided by the President Luis Abinader.
  • The new government is implementing more and more preferential electricity policies
  • lower electricity prices can help a large number of poor households
  • new price rate can save energy in this summer

This Trend is Set to Continue

Edesur customers who have already paid the invoice for the month of August will see their accreditation reflected
on the next invoice, or when they go to the checkout.
The general manager administrator, Milton Morrison, said that "Edesur is working to have a satisfied customer and
clarified that the company is not interested in keeping a single peso from the customer that does not correspond to
it, since its mission is to work with efficiency and transparency.""Yesterday, July 31, we finished the re-invoicing
process so that all our clients can
benefit from the presidential mandate," he said.

Likewise, Edesur called on the population to consciously use electricity in these hot months, since household appliances
demand more energy, which can affect the customer's consumption patterns and be reflected in their bill.
