Edenorte celebrates the 24th anniversary of foundation.

Santiago. – Edenorte Dominicana S.A., commemorated this Tuesday the 24th anniversary of its foundation, with a mass of thanksgiving in the

Santiago Apóstol el Mayor Cathedral, in this city.

During the Eucharist officiated by Vicar Pedro Alejandro Batista, chancellor of the Archdiocese of Santiago, engineer 
Andrés Cueto, expressed that the institution he directs has undergone a profound transformation in recent years that 
has allowed it to go from being a leading company in the distribution and commercialization of electrical energy to a 
driving force of change and innovation in the industry.

“We have invested significantly in the infrastructure of our electrical networks and substations, which have been modernized
 and repowered, which has improved the reliability of our service and has allowed greater capacity to satisfy the growing 
energy demand of our region,” said the official. .

In that order, he recalled that Edenorte has redoubled its efforts to be a socially responsible company through the 
strengthening of community initiatives, collaborating closely with local organizations to improve the quality of life of 
the communities.

“Education on the responsible use of energy and the promotion of electrical safety have been fundamental pillars in this work,” 
said Cueto.

He highlighted that each action executed by Edenorte's management is done putting the interests of users above anything else.

For his part, the celebrant of the mass, Rev. Pedro Alejandro Batista, highlighted the work carried out by the current 
administration chaired by engineer Andrés Cueto at the head of Edenorte, urging them to continue distributing electricity
 to customers in the 14 provinces of Cibao de the same way they have been doing it.

This Eucharist is organized every year by Edenorte Dominicana in memory of its foundation. Departmental directors, managers,
 area managers and collaborators of the energy entity, from the 14 provinces of Cibao, attend. Personalities from the business,
 political and social spheres of the country were invited to the ceremony.
